The Hope Movement is the second step to our Mission Statement. (Step 1 - A heart for God, Step 2 - A hope for others)

The Hope Movement is the church body moving outside the four walls of the church to focus our attention on those who have not found a place to gather for worship and learning. The Hope Movement will need a variety of people to help in the Lincoln area, the Seward to Utica area, and the York area.

We will need:

  • Abrahams - Praying People
  • Barnabas - Phone Encouragers
  • Timothys - Disciples for new believers
  • Priscillas & Aquillas - Host homes
  • Pauls - Organizational leaders

The Hope Movement encourages every couple or individual to find someone who does not have a church where they worship regularly, and focus their attention on them. These people are all around us.

Look for:

  • Family members
  • Neighbors
  • Work associates
  • Childrens school friends and their families
  • Chance encounters at grocery stores
  • Ball games

Once we have settled with God on who we need to focus on, who we need to reach out in love to, we need to decide the best way to do that. There are lots of ways to do that as a family or individual such as meeting a need in their life, doing something fun together, a get-together for a home cooked meal, or go out for a meal or coffee together. If they ask, be ready to talk about your faith or the church. Pray for them everyday. Pray that God will open up their lives to your ministry.
